Call for abstracts
We welcome submissions of abstracts of presentations. Please indicate a preference for oral or poster presentation.
All abstracts should be submitted through the web site. Accepted abstracts will appear in the BFR 2010 Symposium Proceedings, which will be made available on CD to all symposium participants and via the symposium website.

Extended Abstract Submission
Online extended abstract submission has started on 9 October 2009!
Corresponding author: Extended abstracts must be submitted to the BFR 2010 by the first author of the extended abstract. The first author becomes the corresponding author of the extended abstract. You can submit upto 2 extended abstracts as the first author.
Presenting author: Extended abstracts that are submitted to the BFR 2010 site and are accepted by the reviewers must be presented by the first author or a coauthor. The presenting author of an accepted abstract must register for the symposium separately. Abstract acceptance does not mean automatic registration.
Instructions for Extended Abstracts Preparation
- Extended abstracts must be written in English.
- Maximum number of pages is 4 (including title, authors’ names and affiliations, body text, figures and tables, acknowledgements and references).
- The required letter font is “Times New Roman” in 11-point type (except for the title, which is 12).
- Text should be single-spaced with right margin justification.
- The headings should be in "Title Case" and boldface.
- Leave one blank line after the title, authors names, affiliations, section texts, figures or tables, acknowledgement.
- Do not indent paragraphs, but separate them by a space.
- Use 2.5 cm margins on each side and 4.0 cm margins on the top and bottom.
- Tables and figures (optional) must be numbered, have titles and be referred to in the text.
- Do not number the pages.
- Abstract is submitted as a PDF file.
- Extended abstracts should have the following structure:
- Title of Extended Abstract. The title should be written in “Title Case”, Times New Roman font, font size 12, bold, centered. Maximum 200 characters.
- Authors names and affiliations follow under the title. The first name (and middle initials if applicable) is followed by the surname. If authors are not from the same organisation, a number in superscript after the surname indicates the affiliation, which are numbered below with corresponding superscript numbers. Authors names are separated by commas. The presenting author's full name is underlined. The affiliations of the authors should include the organisation name and postal address.

In the reference list, write out the complete list of authors and do not use “et al.”. Titles of journal articles should be omitted. Skip a space between entries.
